Learn Exactly How Movers Handle Your Belongings

Learn exactly how movers handle your belongings

Moving industry with all the small scale and large scale moving can be described as a well established and major business. USA Moving and Storage use many types of boxes, crates, packing materials and moving equipments to carry out their job. However handling moving equipments is not an easy task which can be handled by any local moving company. It needs professional experience and skills to handle the moving equipments properly. USA Moving and Storage has the reputation of managing moving equipments efficiently

The basic moving kit would contain boxes of various sizes and specialties, different kinds of wraps, markers and sealing tapes. Standard size boxes are used by most of the movers which would be large enough to accommodate most items. There are also special boxes made specifically for certain items like the one with a bar on top for hanging clothes. There are boxes which are divided into compartments for stacking dishes.

Similarly there are boxes for packing glass ware and crystal ware which would be cushioned with packing peanuts or Styrofoam. For mirror or framed pictures, there are flat cartons which are padded with striated cardboard to prevent the glass from breaking. There are special packing papers which are used to wrap the items before putting them in the boxes. For delicate or electronic items, the bubble wrap would be used. The bubble wrap with air pockets would cushion the items and plastic makes water resistant. The Chicago movers then use sealing tapes to seal the boxes. They may also use plastic wrap to protect things like furniture form getting dusty.

While packing boxes and tapes contribute to the packing section, trolleys or dollies are used during the moving process to load the boxes on to the truck. The trolleys or dollies are nothing but hand carts used for moving boxes which would be loaded on the trolley and wheeled to the truck. The moving company would use ramps for wheeling the trolleys thus protecting carpets and floors from marks. Some companies use other moving equipments like door-jam protectors and banister bumpers to protect doors or banisters from being scratched or damaged while moving heavy furniture.

A reliable and experienced moving company would be equipped with the latest technology like climate controlled trucks and trailers for ensuring the safe moving of things. For transportation, moving companies would be having their own fleet of trucks. The moving trucks would be made of strong steel with strong doors and padlock for security.
